People with a disability are twice as likely to live in poverty, according to research released by the Australian Council of Social Services (ACOSS).

People on low incomes are facing tough times finding affordable accommodation in Sydney and the Illawarra. This finding was underlined again through ANGLICARE Sydney’s second annual Rental Affordability Snapshot.

For the third year in a row ANGLICARE Sydney released its major State of Sydney research report. Entitled “What will I be when I grow up?” the report was launched on 10 May at Carriageworks  in Redfern and formed part of the Winter Appeal campaign. The key focus of the report is the impact of social exclusion on lives and prospects of children.

The best advice seems to recommend that we should review our Will about every five years or so, though it is apparent that not all of us actually do that.
