Sydney Anglicans have been making provision in their Wills for the work of ANGLICARE and its ancestor organisations since the 1800s.

Unquestionably, this generous and compassionate support has assisted ANGLICARE to grow and develop into the one of Australia’s largest providers of community support services reaching out to thousands of needy people with Christian care and practical help.

Struggling families living on or below the poverty line, seniors suffering with dementia, homeless youth and children with disabilities are just some of the people ANGLICARE assists every day.

ANGLICARE has produced a comprehensive, new information booklet on the subject of Wills and Bequests. Written in simple language, the booklet has been designed as a general guide to address many of the basic questions relevant to anyone who may be thinking about making a new Will or reviewing an old one.

Some of the more than 16 sections deal with issues such as: Why change a Will – what to consider, Capital Gains Tax, Power of Attorney, Enduring Guardianship, Duties of an Executor and How to leave a bequest to ANGLICARE.
