- Give thanks for the generous support for our Winter Appeal, knowing that we were able to help many people through a very tough winter.
- Please pray for our new programs that aim to change people’s lives in order to help them cope with the crisis situations. Our aim is not only to provide for emergencies, but to develop the means to get through emergencies.
- Please pray for our fantastic Carer Respite Volunteers working in programs such as Westlink. Please also pray for the families they help – the children living with disabilities, their parents and siblings, all of whom cope with huge burdens.
- Please pray for the work of our researchers who are providing critical information through reports such as the State of Sydney report. Pray that the findings in this report will enable us to help the socially excluded and vulnerable in our communities.
- Please pray that we continue to receive the resources needed to carry on our vital work as we approach our busiest time of the year leading up to Christmas.
