Assistant to Program Coordinator, Penrith.

Did you know there are children in our community who often don’t get to school because they are caring for parents who have long-term illnesses? We provide tutors to these children to make all the difference!

Duties: You will be assisting the Young Carers Program coordinator by liaising with young carers and their prospective new tutors, preparing information for tutors, maintaining records and documentation for each placement, producing a newsletter, and helping to coordinate outings.

Skills required: Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements. Computer literacy – Word and Excel. Great team player, good communication skills and experience working with children.  Creative, flexible and non-judgemental attitude.

Hours: 15 hours a week. 10:00am to 3:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
