As we progress through this year I have sought to reflect on the many blessings with which God has provided us both personally and as an organisation.

As I have spent more time at ANGLICARE I have reflected on the amazing passion, compassion and expertise of our staff, volunteers and our dedicated supporters.

We are blessed to have so many staff who are dedicated to seeing lives changing and communities growing by care through Jesus Christ. I have also been impressed by the Christian commitment of those managing and delivering our services and the hunger to know more about the nature of Christian care.

But I have also been made more and more aware of the significant need and hardship that is in our community – of the broken lives, the families in turmoil and children living in poverty. Our mission is indeed a great one – and it is only with Gods help that we can begin to address the needs in our own home community.

Please pray for ANGLICARE, its staff and its supporters, as we seek to model Christ’s example of sacrificial love for the multitudes we serve in our community.
